I wasn't able to find a parking spot in the parking garage and the 3 other parking lots across Ceder ave from the hospital. I ended up trying to call and had to wait on hold in total 22 minutes as I had to call 3 times and after 7mins the first 2 calls were disconnected. The 3rd time was only 6mins so I was able to talk to the scheduler and explain that I wasn't going to make my appointment today since I refused to drive around anymore trying to get a place to park. She said they have valet parking in the front. Wow, Presbyterian! Really? Anyway I wasn't happy with the ridiculous directions I had from Google maps as I had asked for specific directions for the Cardiologist department in the Presbyterian hospital. I was informed that I had arrived at my destination immediately after crossing Silver Ave. That is not helpful for complete directions to a specific department since there are several buildings entrances and parts of Presbyterian hospital. I eventually rescheduled my appointment and I will be sure to try and use the valet parking if I have the same issue, but it seems like I should have been able to find a parking spot within the vast amount of parking lots Presbyterian hospital has at this location.

Dr. Ashley Champlin was fantastic! I've gotta say this was one of the best medical appointments I've ever had. The wait time was minimal and both Katana (sp?) the EKG tech and Dr. Champlin made me feel completely at ease and not rushed out the door like at some medical facilities. Both Ashley and Katana were very friendly, the EKG was over and done before I even realized it, and Ashley took plenty of time to go over my test results and answered all of my questions and concerns. Can't say enough good things about my experience here - it's a weird thing to say but I can't wait to go back again haha!

When is this office going to follow up. Horrible customer service in cardiology. Just got out of the hospital and I've tried getting in touch with them several times since last week and No response. Who ever Dr Mayfield has in his office for customer service really suck. UN-STAT!!! I used my chart. Considering going back to the heart hospital.

My mom suffered a heart attack in February, and had to have her Aortic Valve replaced in March. The surgical team was outstanding - they came in answered questions, expressed concern and empathy, and came out after surgery to discuss the successful procedure. However, from that point forward patient service has been the worst I've ever experienced, and I am a veteran who receives care through the VA!
Mom's follow up appointments have had to be changed twice for different reasons. We've called multiple times to try and get a Dr. to change mom from Warfarin to another anticoagulant and no return phone calls from doctors.
Today's ECG appointment was on their scheduling software, but the tech, and nurses had no idea we were coming today! After 30 minutes of waiting, and overhearing conversations between schedulers, we knew we were forgotten about. They came and gave us more excuses and said it would at least another 30 minutes.
One hour and 20 minutes later the tech finally came and got us. She said she had no idea we were coming, and that the problem was that the surgeon's office and the cardiologist's office weren't communicating!
My mom's care has been one gigantic, downhill failure after another since her first post-op visit. Everything surrounding my mother's care and recovery has been exceptionally poor. The frustration finally boiled over, hence this review - the first negative review I have ever left for anything.
