Patient
WARNING, WARNING, WARNING, WARNING, WARNING My name is Jacklyn Cataldo formerly Jonathan Bertanelli. When I saw Dr. Harding he was in private practice prior to selling his medical vein practice to the Center for Vein Restoration. (Emphasis). While Dr. Harding has been a Vascular Surgeon for 35 years primarily focused on his Cardiologist practice and NOT leg vein restoration. (Emphasis Added). I saw Dr. Harding for sclerotherapy treatment for the removal of spider veins around both my ankles and feet. The medical terminology for spider veins within this area of the ankle and foot is "corona phlebectatica. Sclerotherapy injections if the medical "gold standard," for the treatment to cosmetically remove these spider veins. Prior to my consultation with Dr. Harding I had sent to him my medical records, ultrasounds and photographs of my legs, ankle and feet from Innova Vein and Vascular e.g. Dr. Sanchez. Dr. Harding specifically requested these medical records "prior" to determining whether to schedule a consultation with him. Thereupon Dr. Harding scheduled my consultation with him and charged me $250 consultation fee prior to the appointment. Dr. Harding advised me that this would be deducted from my sclerotherpy treatment costs. At my consultation with Dr. Harding he "did not conduct any vein examination of my legs, ankles and feet. To the contrary Dr. Harding had "made the decision prior to my consultation with him " to NOT provide provide me these treatments to remove the spider veins around my ankles and feet. Specifically Dr. Harding gave me a 45 minute lecture on why he would not provide me treatment. Dr. Harding during this consultation had criticized me due to my profession as an aerospace engineer stating that how I come at life. My profession as an aerospace engineer is irrelevant to seeking cosmetic / medical treatment for my veins. Dr. Harding went on at great lengths advising me that when it's all said and done, he advised me not to worry about the cosmetic spider veins around my fee and ankles. Dr. Harding stated to me, "it's not worth my time, it's not worth my money and it's not worth the risk." Dr. Harding made this judgment decision prior to my consultation with the specific intent to fraudulently charge me the $250 consultation fee knowing he was not going to provide treatment for me. (Emphasis) Sclerotherapy is th "gold standard" for the cosmetic removal of these spider veins and requires an experienced. Apparently Dr. Harding is not experienced nor qualified to perform those treatments or elected he did not want to perform them. Dr. Harding practices fraudulent vein restoration treatment. Dr. Harding during his consultation with me knowingly advocated fraudulent medical standards. First Dr. Harding stated that because "I took plavix and asprin as blood thinners that sclerotherapy does not work anyway." This is medically false. Dr. Harding then stated to me that, " when you start working at the ankle and below, you are asking for trouble, you are asking yo get into trouble with arterial ulcerations." This is Dr. Harding's opinion. To the contrary, as I indicated previously sclerotherapy injection treatments around the ankle and feet is the gold standard course of treatment for experienced and qualified vascular surgeons. Dr. Harding did not have to provide these medical falsifications. All Dr. Harding had to advise me that he did not want to provide treatment and not schedule the consultation. But Dr. Harding operates by false pretense to schedule a consultation and fraudulently collect his $250 consultation fee knowing he is not going to provide treatment. WARNING. If you are in the need for any type of cosmetic sclerotherpy for spider or varicose veins please exercise sound medical judgment and do not go to or become victimized by Dr. Harding at the Center for Vein Restoration. P.S. Lastly Dr. Harding destroyed all my medical records. Dr. Harding still refuses to return my $250 initial consultation fee. Respectfully Submitted, Jacklyn Cataldo formerly Jonathan Bertanelli. .
