Dr Bestawros is wonderful! Not only is he very knowledgeable but he takes a lot of time making sure that the patient understands everything he discussed. He is down to earth, with none of the arrogance of many doctors. I highly recommend him.

reviewing for my husband who doesn't do these things.
yesterday my husband had a watchman and a heart ablation to treat his afib.
life has been so difficult for him. struggling to do the simplest of things without having his afib making him sit down. the dizziness, the falling down. seeing him exhausted every day.
our experience with this doctor, his team and any staff members was nothing but professional and warm and caring. that includes the doctor and anesthesiologist. the nursing staff were all just so sweet to him. it took so much of the stress away for us.
my husband is home safe today. doing well and hoping for better days.
thank you so much. Robert King, Marsha King.

I was very happy to have found Dr Bestaros. I was previously put on blood thinners without determining I really needed them from a previous heart dr who is local to me. He listened to my concerns and perused all the lab work and scans done as a result of the havok the drugs caused me putting me in the ER and hospital for several days. I have an irregular heart rythm for many years now and he discussed all my options at length and we came up with a plan we feel is best for me. I live in an adjacent town and he is familiar with the new dr I will be seeing there and chats with him frequently so I am confident I will be getting better follow up care going forward. I highly reccomend him.

Dr. Bestawros did an excellent job of explaining my condition to me and the risk fasters involved. He also took a great deal of time explaining to me what my treatment options were and spent about 30 minutes with me helping me make a decision about my future treatments. I was very impressed with his expertise and manner. Moving forward I feel very confident that he will take very good care of me.

This visit was to update the status of the medications being taken a year after a Loop monitor was implanted. It recorded heart rhythms to check for any recurrence of AFib, a reaction to an attempt at rapidly reversing dehydration of a pneumonia diagnosis, which resulted in an extended hospital and rehabilitation stay. No incidents of AFib were reported by the monitor in a year after returning home. Therefore the two medications, including a blood thinner, were to be stopped immediately. When we got to the pharmacy coming home the recently dispensed medication had been already returned to the shelf and the doctor's instructions not to renew the two prescriptions were recorded. The doctor's prompt records, resulting in immediate notification of the pharmacy, is commended.
