Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center

My Mother Beatrice Osman was A patient there often on this year sadly, she passed away today 11/6/25. I just wanna give a shout out to the doctors and the nurses and even the janitorial stuff that helped my parents during this difficult time. Thank you for your tender care Blessed & Amazin! That is their name! We were blessed and they were truly amazing! Jesus bless you all! Michelle Perea forever grateful daughter!

My experience was very disappointing. I picked up my husband after only 2 1/2 days of treatment for four blood clots, possible pneumonia and dehydration. He has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and before air lifted from Grants NM needed at least twice the amount of oxygen he normally used. They determined he didn't need surgery for the blood clots. Was this reason he was released early after hospital staff and a doctor said he was staying a week. Imagine our surprise. He was discharged without any supplemental oxygen besides his personal Inogen machine that does not make enough oxygen for his new baseline need, to make the seven hour road trip home. We almost had a repeat of what got him in the hospital the first time. All we left Lovelace with was a pack of personal wipes, really? My husband says the staff on his floor was excellent in many ways. I only had contact with the wheelchair assistant who could get him in the truck fast enough! Maybe the doctor should have evaluated the entire patient instead of discounting his need to breathe. Oh and blood clots can take weeks to resolve, not days.

Being a patient who suffers from heart failure, this place has been amazing and I got an ICD and now soon to get an LVAD. The amount of effort staff and heart team has given me and my family has been amazing and very humbling, hospital's nowadays or only treat symptom and push patient out the door not this place they work to the treatment needed. I'll be forever grateful and thankful for all who have helped me. Thank you.

It is a wonderful hospital with friendly and kind Drs,nurses,all the staff. They answer your questions and the care they give their patients is the best . They actually go in by themselves to see if the patient needs anything or is comfortable. The best hospital. Thank God for these good caring staff.

If you are having a heart attack, go here. Attentive, response time is fantastic, entire staff from er to techs to the nurses and doctors are fabulous. My nurse, Maggie, was awesome. She really took good care of me.
