Fantastic physician! I have been a patient of Dr. Marin for several years and highly recommend her. Dr. Marin is an excellent listener and works with you to come up with an effective prevention/treatment plan. I never feel rushed during office visits with Dr. Marin and always feel at ease talking to her. What impresses me about her is that she is very meticulous in reviewing your records and test results and explaining the results and your condition to you. It is obvious that Dr. Marin sincerely cares about her patient's health and well-being. Great physician and a down to earth nice person. Overall grade: A+

Dr. Marin pretty much dismissed my concerns and told me "there's nothing wrong with your heart". After seeing another doctor who ordered several test, I was diagnosed with P.O.T.S. and I was referred to another cardiologist. I really felt that Dr. Marin did not care about what I was going through. She was not helpful at all and didn't seem to want to help figure out what was wrong with me.

I turned 70 this month. Two and a half years ago I had a major infarction. A transradial catheterization showed all three arteries blocked with no possibility for stents. They recommended bypass surgery asap. I declined.
Dr. Marin prescribed isosorbide, ranolazine, amlodipine & metoprolol. I soon dropped the metoprolol as it caused syncope. I've been "non-compliant" all my life so being tagged as such was no big deal. What was impressive was how Dr. Marin dealt with it. She asked several pointed questions, reiterated her concern, and let it drop.
Once, when I asked her a question about hematology she said, "Mike, I only have twenty minutes." She didn't say it meanly, just as a matter of fact. Taking the question online, I was, after a mere fifteen minutes, in WAY over my head. It was then my commitment to her solidified.
