Optum Multi-Specialty Center - West Orange

The appointment was worth the wait. I was there to see Andrea Davila and I was impressed by her personable character and attentiveness in listening to my health concerns. Not only did she go above and beyond to add an additional blood test so I could avoid getting tested twice, she booked a dermatology appointment on my behalf and sent a prescription so I could find some relief during the waiting period until I had my next appointment. If we had more caring doctors that were this proactive and sharp we'd have a much better healthcare experience. 10/10

The doctors are fine, the billing now managed by Optum will give you a heart attack, as it is relentless (texts, Emails, Mail) and constantly inaccurate. I'm sorry to post this review, as I had been a patient there for a decade. Not any more. Stay away!

I wouldn't recommend. The doctor I saw was okay as far as bedside manner but the staff I dealt with to get to the doctor were rude and unprofessional. You have to call maybe five times to get an answer At the West Orange office and when you do get a person on the phone, they are annoyed that they have to help you. I am having the hardest time receiving a simple explanation. I call billing, they tell me to call the doctors office. I call the doctors office, they tell me to call billing. It's like a circular motion. I would Recommend taking your health and business elsewhere.

Dr. Pandya is a kind and supportive doctor. He listens attentively and is knowledgeable. I feel comfortable expressing my concerns and know I will receive the appropriate treatment. In addition, the waiting room is comfortable and tidy. The nursing staff is friendly. The wait time is reasonable if not short and overall from the time I arrive to when I leave the process is efficient and pleasant.

I have been going to Alpha Health Association for a few years now and so has my family. The location is great and office itself is well maintained and clean. I usually see Dr. Pandya- he is a great doctor. He keeps his visits with patient's quick and to the point but never makes you feel rushed which is the most important part of a patient-doctor interaction. I like that he is able to recall what my last visit with him was like and and compares my progress despite what my reason of visit is for - so he always keeps my in check, which we all need. On top of that, the entire staff of AHA is really friendly, helpful and always maintains a great attitude so it's easy to work with them when it comes to follow-ups, referral, insurance help and more. I've had few occasions where I had to make emergency appointments with the doctor and the staff always responds back quickly and manages to get me an appointment that fits with my schedule for the most part. Overall, no complaints!!
