Mulkay Cardiology Consultants - Holy Name Physicians

On September 10th, I had an appointment to see Dr. Angel Mulkay. I booked it 20 days in advance. To my surprise, the doctor never saw me. I was seen by a very nice young woman, but she's an APN. I made my appointment to see the doctor, not her. I'm never going back to the consultation. I'm going to find another doctor. What bothered me most was that I wasn't informed beforehand.she never send the medication to the pharmacy.

I made an appt for my spouse , she had complaints of palpitations and discomfort . The wait time was insane and the actual visit with the provider was probably less than 5 min , an EKG was done and then we were told they would get back to us about an appt for an echo nd stress test . This was in March and still haven't heard from them yet !!!!!!!!

Had my first visit/consultation today. HIGHLY recommended! Dr. Mulkay was absolutely amazing, friendly, funny and made me feel absolutely comfortable. The ekg tech was super nice! The front desk staff were very friendly! I was seen within minutes of my appointment time and didn't have to sit and wait a long time like most doctor's offices. The office was spotless and smelled amazing! Definitely recommend this place to anyone needed a cardiologist and feeling nervous about doing so! They will make you feel comfortable and taken care of.

I will not be returning to this office ever again. I had an echocardiogram done over a month ago and the office never called to give me the results and to make matters worse when I tried to make an appointment, they had no convenient availability, nor did they offer telehealth. The person I spoke to on the phone would not allow me to get a word in. She was extremely rude. I was trying to tell her that I needed to make an appointment for the results and that I was experiencing tightness in my chest, and she could care less. She didn't even try to accommodate me in any way even though I was already a patient of theirs. Never again. Don't go here, they are irresponsible, if they received my echocardiogram results, why did they not at least give me a call to discuss it over the phone or offer telehealth services. There is no excuse. Also, my review is about the Union City office.

Worst office in Hudson county. Inefficient staff and worst cardiologist. If you have an appointment and you are punctual, but you want to see all patients arriving after you being taken care before you, then this is your place. Dr Mulkay comes in late and doesn't care about his patients. There are plenty of cardiologists that care about their patients and run their offices much better. The office Manager has a lot of work to do .
