Community Medical Center

Community Hospital has come a long way.it has had a complete face left. It is beautiful and clean. I went to the emergency room the other day. Got seen by a nurse and she took all the information and started treatment. It was amazing. I think within 2 hrs I was in there observation unit. I don't know why but whenever anyone entered your room they introduced themselves and told you what they were going to do. Kept me informed of everything going on. All the staff were very friendly, great bedside manners. I think they have been given a bad rap. This is now a new Hospital Under RHJ Barnabas Health.

I had a great experience at the Radiology Department at Community Medical Center in Toms River. The staff were very professional, kind, and efficient. They made me feel comfortable and explained every step clearly. The check-in process was smooth, and I didn't have to wait long. The technicians were caring and respectful, and the whole visit went very smoothly. Excellent service and a very positive atmosphere -- thank you to the entire radiology team!

My mom had to go to the community two weeks ago. What an incredible turn around that hospital has gone through. The nurses and doctors were very attentive. They called in a doctor and did surgery in the middle of the night. They kept a nurse stationed outside my mom's door in the er all night. They explained everything as it was being done and totally kept up updated through everything. They save my mom's life that night. Thank you Community Medical Center !!

We went to ER three times in 36 hours. It was not busy. I know a nosebleed is not life threatening but urgent care referred us to ER. The night staff is sloppy, dismissive and neglient with hand hygiene. Night crew packed nostril twice without success. I have seen veterinarians show more intelligence and compassion to horses when inserting a nasogastric tube. When we went back the third time it was at 8am. The demeanor and expertise of morning staff was professional and competent. It was as though we were in a different hospital. Plus hygiene was much improved. Nostril was successfully packed. My advice is avoid Community ER at night.

I had surgery at Community Hospital on July 28 for a lower lumbar spinal fusion. I live up in Monmouth County New Jersey, and by far this was the cleanest, most attentive ,and comforting hospital I have been to! From the time I got in there to the time I left everything went as smooth as could be. Very pleasant experience staying there and what a breath of fresh air from the other hospitals! The staff was very attentive and Comforting!! Great job guys!!!!
