Hiten Amin, MD

I can't begin to tell you how great Dr Hiten Amin is. I have been seeing him for several years and there has never been a time NOT ONE! where he has not helped me. His overall demeanor, his timeliness and most importantly his medical knowledge I have to say is next to none. I have had many medical issues throughout the years. This is the first review i have ever written in my life and I felt the need to write a great review for Him for what I have been experiencing over the last 8 years with him. I have had some life-changing events and many medical problems and he has been there for me medically, physically, mentally and emotionally. I cannot begin to tell How much this Dr and his staff have Helped me through the medical hurdles I've been faced with. He truly CARES about his patients. He knows his patients I am saying it because I have visited many doctors over the years and I feel like I'm just a Number. There have been numerous times where he has gone above and beyond what i expected and what is required by a physician. I consider him part of my family. I could only wish that all physicians were like Dr Amin and his staff.

I can't begin to describe how amazing of a Doctor he is. I have been a patient for a while now. Have not felt this comfortable with a provider as I do with Dr. Amin, caring, patient, and supportive. He allows you to voice your concerns as a patient and works with you to make sure you have an understanding of what his care plan is. Has returned all calls and has always showed care and concern to my issues over the years with him. His medical assistant (Robyn) is the best. I am very happy to have found him. Keeping in mind I am not his only patient and don't expect to get a response within seconds of my request. But I have always received the best care by him and his staff. Thank you Dr. Amin!

The last straw with this practice that was absorbed by BHMG Shrewsbury Primary Care a RWJ Barnabas Health group, was Dr Amin forgetting to approve me for a surgical procedure. He went away for a short vacay and never called in the authorization. I had to get me Cardiologist to do it. At the visit I also had asked him to call my son with his blood work results which he also didn't do. The lack of follow up had been consistent and I just couldn't see myself staying on as his patient. The office is a mess. I even volunteered to be a patient representative to meet monthly with the office manager to discuss how to make the office a better experience. That lasted 2 months as the manager was let go. If there are too many patients and that load is too much, then I'm helping to relieve that problem by leaving this practice.

My doctor retired and Dr. Amin took over parts of his practice. I was nervous about seeing a new doc after 35 years, but Dr. Amin was so friendly and caring, I soon lost my anxiety. Feels like I'm in good hands. UPDATE June, 2021: Dr Amin is a kind and intelligent GP and I heartily recommend him to everyone. He cares about his patients and what they think; he listens; he explains; he asks what else he can do. I am so happy I have a trusted professional to help me through my old age. Thanks, Dr. Amin!

I am a registered nurse, and took a friend of mine to see Dr. Amin. Dr. Amin was incredibly thorough, caring, professional, and extremely thoughtful with regard to my friend's presentation. I would send anyone in my family to this doctor. He was phenomenal! The office staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant as well.
