Dr. Jackson is VERY knowledgeable and takes time to sit down and explain everything during the office visits. Been seeing him for nearly fifteen years now. He is far better than any doctor you find in the big conglomerate medical groups around such as SMG. Highly recommend him as a Primary care physician.

Dr. Jackson has been our primary care physician for the past five years. He dedicates quality time to attentively listen to our concerns and, after thorough consideration, offers well-informed recommendations. His extensive knowledge and insights into the latest trends in internal medicine are truly commendable. We're willing to travel from Edison just to consult with him, as he consistently puts our minds at ease during each visit and provides optimal suggestions regarding specialty care. We eagerly anticipate having Dr. Jackson as our primary care doctor for the foreseeable future.

I called to make an appointment for a vaccine and an immunization form needing to be filled out (I explained it was for school). The lady I spoke to scheduled me for a late afternoon appointment and asked me to bring all of my immunization records to the appointment. So far so good. I get a call the day prior to my appointment to confirm, I confirm. THE DAY OF I receive a call at 8am from Dr. Jackson's office (this time a different woman) who is literally yelling at me telling me that unless I either fax or drop off the documents PRIOR to the appointment, I will not be seen. Confused, I explain to her that when I called to make the appointment, the woman I had spoken to said I could just bring them with me to the appointment. This woman responds with the most condescending tone "You can stop saying that "last week when you called, the lady said..." I am telling you that unless I see those documents you will not be seen by Dr. Jackson". I ask if I can just come a bit earlier to the appointment to show them to her, and she tells me that unless I send them to her by the morning, I can forget about being seen. I have never had a negative experience with Dr. Jackson but thanks to this extremely rude woman I will not be coming back...

I had a physical with Dr. Jackson on 1/17/2023. He completed the physical on me (a woman) without a nurse present, which I found very odd. When he went to draw my blood, I learned that he does not have a nurse and that he would be drawing the blood himself. I also found this odd, as most doctors offices have nurses or medical assistants who are more properly trained in these areas. I explained I have a needle phobia and extreme anxiety when it comes to blood draws and politely asked for a butterfly needle. He sharply responded "you don't want that, it takes 3 times as long". I told him it would make me more comfortable and this is how it's always been done for me. He then aggressively threw all his supplies in the trash, snapped at me, saying: "this is why I don't do this on people like you. You're going to cause a huge scene and it won't be good for anyone. You can go to the hospital and they can deal with you." Then he stormed out of the room, slammed the door, and didn't say goodbye. He didn't give me a referral for bloodwork at another location either and I haven't heard from him since. Additionally, he did not have a nurse in his office or any other staff present in the exam room during my physical. I felt very uncomfortable and neglected after this appointment. Dr. Jackson has been prescribing my anxiety and depression medications for over a year and is well aware of my anxiety. I was floored at how I was treated that day and after reading reviews, I see I am not the only one. I hope this review will save someone else from having a similar experience.

Dr. Jackson is an amazing doctor. Yes, the front lady is rude, but if you can get past her he's a doctor worth keeping!
