AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus

My father stayed here for over a week and his care was excellent. He started in the ICU for about four days and then was transferred up to the fourth floor cardiac unit. Everyone that he, my mother, and I came into contact with was professional, kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Both rooms that he was in were well-maintained and clean. We knew that he was in excellent hands at the Mainland campus and have only wonderful things to say. We are very lucky to have such a fabulous hospital so close by.

Was not impressed with the mental health unit for a family member. I had to initiate communication about the patient. No one reached out to me to provide updates or information. A few of the nurses were nice, but others acted like they couldn't be bothered. Resources and information for patients and families was very limited. Navigating and advocating for mental health patients is difficult and the staff needs be better educated and more knowledgable. If you are looking for a place to help your loved one, look elsewhere.

The hospital is nice and most of the staff are great but the maternal fetal medicine rules need to change for patients who want and need the proper care but can't get childcare. To be turned away because of lack of childcare is insane and super stressful. They make no exceptions and knowing that I may be denied care when I live about a hour away is terrible. Then they call me to reschedule my appointment for their staff meeting convenience That is ironic. Refusing to work with a patient but expecting the patient to accommodate them is wrong in so many ways I'm not the only one who is in this situation and I am looking into petitioning this. I believe that working with the patients would be less detrimental to the woman and unborn baby then turning them away right out.

My husband was a patient at 3 Pines, in the Mainland Campus. His complex medical issues required multiple medical disciplines. Dr Salartash formed a team of physicians that worked together to ensure my husband received the necessary tests and meds he needed. Extra points for teamwork. Good job, doctors!

Just had heart cath procedure.My Dr.Waqas Ullah,he is so kind,smart,incredable caring doctor.Explains every detail,so smooth in the operating room.James my nurse for the entire day was so nice,gentle really cares,makes the entire event calming.Great to my family .Paul and George,wow can not say enough about this crew,old time caring comppassionate people,never could I dream of such care.No reason to go to Phila.or new york when you have Dr.Patel and his amazing ,incredable team to make you well at 65 years old,I was scared to death regarding this procedure.This entire team at Atlantic care including Michelle at ck in to the front desk 100 Stars not enough to reward everyone!!!!!Thanks, for everything,operating room team Thanks so much, you are very special people in every way you guys are incredable to say the least words can not explain this earth shattering event. Guess I should stop but I owe you this at the least.In closing,I would never have known about Dr.Patel and his team if it wasnt for Tracy Montacello top nurse at atlantic care , she put this together for me in my fearful need of this heart event Thanks Everyone!!!!! .
