Valley and their doctors have always been my "go to" place both as a physician feeder ( check your history when you first opened to provide heart surgery w Dr Mindich and Dr Hirsch) as well as a patient. More recently I have been disappointed in one of your neurosurgeons who did not have the courtesy to talk with me after looking at the MRI of my back. I had scheduled an office appointment with him. He had his office assistant telephone me to go to NYC . I had another retired neurosurgeon call him but he would not talk with him. I should really state his name . But out of respect for the profession, will hold off. He was recommended to me by two Valley doctors. Very disappointed. You can ask Ms Audrey Meyers about my early support of Valley well before I retired years ago while Dr Hirsch was the director of the cath lab and D Mindich was a rainmaker for Valley. I understand this is a public review. Perhaps it will both support Valley ( I have had much better experience with Valley as a provider than a number of NYC big name hospitals in terms of patient outcome) as well as change the cavalier attitude of some physicians..
