I had a bad experience The doctor took 45 minutes to come in the room and as questions were asked of him he was texting on his cell phone the whole time.

Dr. Russo and his team are ROCK STARS! They operated on my 85 tear old mother utilizing TAVR and she is doing great. If her mitral valve was not fixed she would not have lived. Dr. Russo and his team made sure she was stabilized pre and post op as she has many health concerns. We are so thankful for more time with our mother. Thank you for the great work that you do.

He's an amazing doctor with a great and very high level of experience. He has a great personality and is very caring. His service is amazing he will give you true experienced opinion. Just know he will be there to help even after your discharge. I'm saying all this by experience. He and his staff saved my father's life, and I can't thank them enough.

TAVR is A DEATH SENTENCE!!! If you or a loved one have been told that you are a TAVR candidate... You should understand fully that you might not survive it.... My 89 year old Grandmother went in for TAVR on May 19, 2021 and went to heaven on May 24th at Robert Wood Johnson hospital. She never recovered from Russo's procedure. Their game plan was not specific to my Grandmother's health needs either. I'm not a Dr. but I do know the path of least resistance is almost always true. You as the reader can decide for yourself if this would also apply to HEART SURGERY. Based on the decision by Russo and his associates along with her cardiologist, Saleem Husain, there was an iliac artery tear during the procedure which caused internal bleeding. After that, they completed the TAVR using that path of least resistance I wrote about. However they hurt my Grandma so bad that she never recovered. So here's how it went... Iliac artery tear which caused internal bleeding, during that time she flatlined and had to be shocked twice, emergency surgery to stop her blood flow to the leg they started entry for TAVR, completed TAVR on the opposite side in 2 minutes... Another emergency surgery 24 HOURS LATER to fix what they broke. I know right... 89 years old going through all of that, why bother! Next, Kidney failure which caused a massive infection and the shut down of all her other organs. Cause of Death (Sepsis). Mark Russo, his associates and Saleem Husain could have treated my Grandmother better... Instead, every Dr., PA, NP or Nurse we talk to makes it seem like it was her fault that she didn't make it. My proof of that was the bill we received from Russo's office two weeks after she passed... So if you are thinking about TAVR, especially if you are Black or Brown... Know the risks because in my opinion Russo and any other Dr. who's pushing TAVR is experimenting on Black and Brown seniors. Just think about it... If they do something to one of us who's gonna hold them accountable??? I mean their Dr's right??? And we are who we are... Love Ya'll... My Grandma wanted me to share...
