Patient
Dr. Katz is a great doctor but his office staff and policies are the worst! My husband had an ablation procedure several years ago done by Dr. Katz. He's having problems now with Afib. Called office....since he hasn't been there in a few years, he's treated like a new patient, ok fine. The next STUPID question from the secretary was. 'Who referred you'.....you're kidding right? You were just told he's a patient, you want to know who referred him? Guess doc just wants new patients and doesn't care for current ones. Since Dr. Katz made it very clear that an ablation procedure is not a permanent fix, it lasts for a few years depending on the patient, what are we supposed to do, start over? Why would my husband be considered a new patient? Every office wants history, his records are there already, but he's a new patient. We've gone elsewhere.
