Atlantic Cardiology

Nice friendly office staff. Nurses are kind, helpful & pleasant, as well as the technicians. Cardiologists are just a great team of doctors. They take the time to listen to you & explain things. Doctors treat you with care & respect. I certainly don't get the feeling of being rushed like some doctors office's that give a feeling it's all about the money & not about patient care in this day & age. This cardiologist group is truly professionalism at it's best! After a while you feel just a little bit like family instead of just a patient.

Be extra careful and don't step foot in this Godawful office, they staff is unprofessional, rude and completely inept. If there was an option for zero stars, I would have selected that. They have ripped me off of over $600.00 in charges because they deliberately misguided me about what the insurance pays vs. the patient out of pocket expense. Even the insurance company questioned their unethical behavior. I complained about this issue and they had me speak with Megan, supposedly, their office supervisor, who is not only useless, but utterly incompetent. After she admitted that it was a failure on their part, she refused to take any responsibility and stopped returning my phone calls. I have asked for the matter to be escalated and they have refused to provide a higher up contact person. They flat out prey on people's money - shameful!

I still think about how I went here because I had clinical symptoms of POTS and he told me to eat more potato chips. Literally, that was his only guidance to me as a doctor. Eat salty potato chips. Then he had the gall to tell me to schedule a follow up visit to see how the potato chips were helping me. Safe to say I went to a different doctor. Eventually I found information and doctors who actually diagnosed and treated me for my serious health conditions. My advice for this practice would be to be transparent when the doctor doesn't have a clue and refer them to someone who does. Misdiagnosing and wasting peoples money is not acceptable.

I used to see or the last 10 years approximately. oliveri excellent cardiologist. Now they send to new dr because dr oliveri retired and so far I am hesitant to continue going to this practice.
