Dr Benoff is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is also certified in nuclear cardiology and adult transthoracic echocardiography. He received his MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He did his internal medicine internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York. From 1996-2004, Dr Benoff was assistant clinical professor of medicine and director of nuclear cardiology, the Allen Pavilion, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. He practices at Cardiovascular Consultants of North Jersey.

Dr.Benoff along with his partners are wonderful caring doctors who not only care for my ailing dad, but with their visits during trying times have supported us as family as well and kept us positive and hoping in the toughest of times. They takes time to listen and provide options and hope as well. Dr. Hastings as well, has helped us through some of the worst times (Septic Shock) and visited daily, sat on the side of the bed to keep me and my sister sane and aggressively helped get my father off a vent and up and out of the hospital. All the group is that way. We appreciate their professional and friendly care.

He listens, doesn't judge, has an organized and efficient staff, and --- respects patients' time!
I know that hiccups and emergencies occur, but when Dr. Benoff says that my appointment is at 1pm, for instance, it's at 1pm. This in it of itself is fantastic.
When my wife informed me that my prior cardiologist is finally in-network with my insurance, I said, nope I am sticking with Dr. Benoff.
