Extremely rude receptionist, middle aged "Karen" receptionist who was talking about my medical condition and spreading ugly rumours about heart patients. How the heck is this even allowed. Breaking HIPA laws, pretending heart patients are harming other heart patients??? This middle aged, light brown wavy haired "Karen" with a ponytail should be fired immediately for breaking HIPA laws. And this facility sued along with her for causing undue stress to its patients. DISGUSTING

**IF YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY- Go see Dr. Andries in EHT. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!** Sorry for the long story but it's necessary. If I could rate Dr Weinberg 0 stars I would. I initially saw him in November due to passing out and heart racing. I was referred to a cardiologist from the ER due to my mother's history of heart issues (she passed in 2020 because of them). The first thing Dr Weinberg said to me when he walked in was "I don't know why they sent you here. I'm almost positive you have vasovagal syncope but I'll let you tell me what's going on". I was in absolute shock that a doctor would speak to a patient like this. I explained my symptoms and he gaslighted me the entire time! Told me my heart skipping a beat is normal, the pain in my left arm is irrelevant since it was going on for a while, and even showed me a website that explained what vasovagal syncope was and said "I'm not saying you have it, YOU'RE telling me you have it". He refused to order a stress test or monitor but appeased me by ordering an echo since I was adamant. Prior to me leaving he said "so are you okay? I don't want you thinking something is wrong with you" to which I said "I hope you're right. It's not like I want something to be wrong with me" but I knew something was up.. I left practically in tears. I have never been treated that way by a Dr before. The echo showed fluid around my heart. Dr google stated when this is present along with fainting, it's a concern. No one ever called me to go over the results. I had to call TWICE and the second time I requested Dr Weinberg to call me back before the end of day. He never called but a nurse did. She said "everything looks fine. The fluid is so minimally that Dr Weinberg says it shouldn't have even been notated in the report". At this point, I had enough of the BS. I had to switch my insurance and wait a month in order to be in network to see a new Dr that was recommended to me. BEST THING I EVER DID!!! She ordered a stress test, heart monitor and another echo. I have officially been diagnosed with SVT and have to follow up with another specialist. DO NOT LET THIS MAN MAKE YOU BELIEVE THE NONSENSE. TRUST YOUR GUT AND ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF! Dr Weinberg shouldn't be allowed to practice if he's not going to actually care for his patients!!

I had an appointment with Dr. Weinberg this past week after being referred to a cardiologist by my primary care doctor due to tachycardia and several other symptoms. The first thing he said to me was, "How long have you been overweight like this?"--which would have been fine if it hadn't been a recurring theme throughout the entire appointment. He proceeded to bring up my weight no less than 13 times, which felt excessive. I understand that weight is a relevant medical factor, but the way he fixated on it made the appointment feel dismissive rather than helpful. Dr. Weinberg insisted that he didn't believe anything was wrong with my heart. When I asked whether my symptoms could be related to POTS or SVT, he repeatedly dodged the question and redirected the conversation back to my weight and endocrine issues. I even tried to show him my Apple Watch data to help explain what was happening, but he flat-out refused to look at it. When I pressed again about POTS or SVT, he made an odd comment about POTS being a term originally used for female hockey players whose hearts would race too fast on the field. At the end of the appointment, after repeatedly telling me I was overweight and suggesting I get my hormones checked again (despite the fact that I already see an endocrinologist), he told me that POTS is just a "trendy" diagnosis and suggested I simply wear compression socks and increase my salt intake. Later, I called the office to request a tilt table test, just to rule things out for my own peace of mind. The assistant informed me that Dr. Weinberg wanted me to follow up with my OB/GYN before he would even consider ordering the test. When I asked for that in writing, his nurse called me back, seemingly to do damage control, saying that maybe our personalities just clashed and that the OB/GYN referral was supposedly to ensure my insurance would cover the test. But what kind of insurance requires a full hormone panel before approving a tilt table test for a heart condition? Overall, this experience left me feeling unheard and dismissed. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Weinberg if you're looking for a doctor who takes your concerns seriously rather than defaulting to weight and hormones as the only explanation.
