I'm knocking my review down from 5 stars to 3 stars. My last appointment was August 12th, and I got a prescrip for a Fasting blood work to be done before my Dec. 30 appointment. I tried to get that done, only to find out that the doctors assistant forgot to put the "diagnosis code" on the work order. So after a few phones calls and running back and forth, I got an updated order with the code. And mind you I did all of this on an empty stomach. I'm definitely not happy with the assistant messing this up, something that they should be very familiar with at this point. I got it resolved and had my new appointment a week later, but I'm still not happy that I wasted 2 and a half hours running around between Quest Diagnostics and the cardiologist office on an empty stomach.
And ANOTHER UPDATE - the cardiologist office messed up again! They put a generic "E78.2" diagnosis code on every Order Description (there are 5 things they're testing for in my blood), and the lady at Quest Diagnostics told me my Insurance is going to deny it because "they can't just put a generic code that covers everything, each one of these has its own code". So now I have to wait to get the bill in the mail from Quest, and then I have to take that bill to the cardiologist to have them sort it out and resubmit a new order. WHAT A HEADACHE!!!

I was referred to Dr. Fox at Hamilton Cardiology, and I'm very glad I followed through with the recommendation. Dr. Fox was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was going on with my health. He genuinely seemed to care and was attentive to my concerns. I also want to highlight how polite and helpful his supporting staff were--they answered all of my questions and made the experience even more positive. Overall, I had a great experience and feel confident about the care I'm received.

Love my doctor and the staff but the last 2 times they have told me they don't make appointments after 3:45. I have to leave work early. I get to my appointment on time. They move me into a room where I sit for 45 minutes. Last time it was over an hour. I surmise they probably don't want to stay late and are clumping patient and double booking the end of the day. I'm usually patient, but this is really getting to me. I work in healthcare and this is getting unacceptable!!! Give me a 4 pm appointment then. I'm losing money leaving my job early. I feel this is like saying that patients time is less important.

I met Dr. Lucas for the first time after a scary hospital stay learning an incidental fine in my heart. Dr. Lucas made me feel content and that he would take care of the problem. I'm to meet with him again and I look forward to it. Everyone in the office is very good very nice friendly cordial thank you very much.

They have no respect for people's time. I have sat in exam rooms on more than a couple occasions and waited 30, 45, 60 minutes for the doctor to see me. You shouldn't need to take a whole day off from work for a routine visit.
