Dr Bikkina is an associate professor of medicine, as well as associate program director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program, at New York Medical College. He received his MD from Guntur Medical College, in India, and his master's from the University of Alabama. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University and has held fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at the University of South Alabama and Boston University. Dr Bikkina takes care of patients with various cardiac diseases, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure.

Dr Bilkina is wonderful with my dad who is a scared patient who has never been sick and newly diagnosed with Parkinson's and then came in with chest pain- Dr Bikina and his office made him feel totally comfortable and not frightened. He had a stress test and an echocardiogram and the fact that the office calls the next day and simply says "everything is OK" is a lovely touch. Also the office staff is very welcoming and patient. The patient portal is easy to access and very user-friendly even for the elderly. I highly recommend this office.
