Dr Erlebacher is a consulting cardiologist with subspecialties in pacemaker implantation, cardio-oncology (detection and treatment of the cardiotoxic effects of cancer chemotherapy and radiation therapy), and echocardiography. He is medical director of Englewood Hospital's Echocardiography Laboratory. He came to Englewood after practicing for five years in the cardiovascular division at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He obtained his cardiology training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. The author of numerous peer-reviewed research papers, abstracts, and book chapters, Dr Erlebacher participates in clinical research as a principal investigator and holds four U.S. patents in medical technology.
