I first came to this practice for a primary doctor about a year ago after my doctor retired. Apparently this practice took over his patients. My first experience with the nurse practitioner was good. I was told there is only 1 doctor available only 3 half days a week at this location. Which is hard to believe. Trying to get thru to the NP is almost impossible. Also , rudest staff person takes the calls for her , and she hardly EVER answers the call always voicemail. Numerous attempts on two different occasions to get in touch with the NP regarding test results , etc. Weeks go by. Due to my teaching schedule I'm not able to pick up the phone during class, so I leave my availability which is ignored. The NP is only in the office in the am, due to the short staff!, and at hospital in the pm. The staff person Maryann argues with me , the patient , that she tries to call even when I leave a detailed vm re available and why I'm calling which I doubt she listens too. I had to speak to office managers twice to get a resolution! If a doctor NP really cared she'd do what she could to get in touch with a patient. This office is unorganized , unbothered by the patients concerns , rude , iand I highly recommend to stay away.

Absolutely disgraceful staff. My mom set up an urgent appointment due to a new development in her health. The nicer receptionist called to confirm my mom's appointment. Fine, all confirmed. They sent a text as well. We arrived for her appointment and the nastiest receptionist, who I've never seen before, became immediately belligerent, telling my mom she doesn't have an appointment that day. We made the appointment specifically to address a new health problem. It was an important appointment, which is why the nicer receptionist called to confirm. The nasty receptionist continued blaming my mother saying she must have done something wrong and canceled her own appointment. Why would she do that after specifically making this appointment and then confirming just a couple days before? This receptionist wouldn't back down and was yelling at us, telling us to come back in the afternoon. Why would we come back in the afternoon? She was an absolute mess and when I said I would find a new cardiologist she, a supposedly grown woman, actually blew a raspberry at me like a child. She literally stuck her tongue out & made a noise. I was stunned & we left. My mom, who obviously has heart problems, was very upset. Why do you hire people like that? Who's accountable? Blowing raspberries at patients? Disgusting.

Dr Novach is a wonderful doctor who takes great care of his patients. This review is meant for the staff at the front desk. Front desk, please take note. IF the doctor is going to be LATE, and you DONT know when they're arriving "due to unforeseen circumstances," CALL the patients that are scheduled that morning BEFORE they waste their time driving there. NO one wants to drive to the office only to be told "the doctors running late and we don't know when he'll arrive, would you like to reschedule or wait an indefinite amount of time?" You have phones. Please respect the patients time and use the phone when you know the doctor is going to be indefinitely late & you have no clue how long before they arrive. If we were to cancel an appointment last minute or be an hour late, you would charge us a fee, so please have the respect to give us early notice too.
