Optum Primary Care - Edgewater

Google provides me the opportunity to share my experiences with others which I think is very important and helpful. I absolutely love Dr Moses Ayo he is very knowledgeable and helpful and takes time to listen. His nurses and staff are very helpful as well.

This office is absolutely terrible , the doctors , the nurses the staff everybody is completely lazy & rude. You can never get through to the office ! You leave messages nobody responds. When they tell you they are going to do something you have to call multiple times to get them to there job. They don't care about there patients !! 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND !!!!!!!

I have been going there a few times, I noticed that the staff was rude the first time but today it was too much for me. I must be odd but I feel that being smiley and thoughtful is a gesture that comes with being professional. As a business owner if me or my employees behaved with my customers the way the nurses behave here at Optum, well, I think I would close doors in a year... Regarding my experience: I saw the same young woman for my Hep B vaccine (total of 3 appointments). She was unfriendly and rushing the 3 times, and unless I told her to inject the product slowly she pushed the piston of the syringe faster than she said hello (she doesn't say hello). After my first appointment my shoulder was hurting for days, never happened to me, so during my second shot appointment I asked that she pushed the product slowly, Lo and behold my shoulder never hurt. But today she asked me a question and as I was about to answer she had the time to sting me and push all the product in my shoulder in what must have been 2 seconds max... so I didn't have the opportunity to ask her to inject at a moderate speed. Because of her rushing behavior (and maybe lack of training) my shoulder will now be in pain... it's called a healthcare clinic, not rush-you-out-the-door patient center.

He is extremely professional, patient, and never treats anyone differently. His care and attention to detail are truly remarkable. We feel fortunate to have such an amazing doctor, I hope he doesn't leave this clinic until he retires and we highly recommend him to anyone seeking excellent medical care."
