Dr. Nidhi Kumar, MD

My first visit with her was great, she seemed caring and knowledgeable. My recent second visit was rushed and she was not focused. She handed me print outs of test results but did not take any time to go over everything and explain the results. Very rushed, over booked. She changed one of my medications and when I asked what are the side effects, she said no side effects?? There are always side effects. I found that the medication should not be taken with a medication I'm currently on. She should know that.

I'm very impressed by Dr. Kumar's excellence. She's truly dedicated and genuinely cares about her patients. She takes a hands-on approach to ensure they receive the right treatment. I was amazed to see her personally call another provider to help expedite a patient's care. She's absolutely fantastic.

I agree with the most 1 star reviews. I went to see Dr. Kumar for palpitations few years ago, she is very knowledgeable and smart but she just needs to tone down her attitude a little bit and be kind, empathetic and spend a little bit more time with the patients. I felt like I was always rushed during appointments. There is a lack of good bedside manners and professionalism (just my opinion).

I would definitely recommend Dr. Nidhi Kumar, as she has been very patient and accurately diagnosed my wife and helped us to get better. I'm giving 1 start for very frustrating experience with their billing department. we have see Dr Kumar in Dec 2022, and they sent us the bill, which was paid in March 2023. even after paying they kept on sending bill, I spoke with their billing department, so the stopped sending it for few months and then started sending bill again and so I spoke with them again, now they sent it to recovery in Feb 2024. It was very frustrating and time consuming to find out evidence which is after a year and I was forgotten which card was used to pay. I hope they learn the lesson and improve billing department by keeping professional people and streamline the process.

My MFM doctor recommended I see her during my pregnancy as I was born with a heart defect . She wasted my time and money . She never ran any tests on me and her advice every appointment was "keep exercising " . She didn't counsel me on any heart related changes during pregnancy and thankfully I was seeing my own cardiologist who actually helped me . I felt like she wanted to just charge me for my go pay and insurance company . She didn't show up for my scheduled induction delivery despite saying she would be . My MFM actually questioned why she wasn't there and he called her and she didn't answer . I'm sure she's a knowledgeable in not complex cardiac cases that deal with Congential issues . But if she wasn't comfortable treating me then just say so. Don't waste my time weekly to make me wait in the waiting room for an hour and then see me for less than 5 minutes in her office not even the exam room . Definitely not the type of care a high risk newly pregnant first time mom needed .
