Apex Heart & Vascular Care

Normally I don't leave reviews, however I am in total disgust with how filthy this place was! The entire facility is old and run down to the bathroom! The bathroom toilet was covered in fece. I was didn't even bother to use the bathroom because I was scared that I would get an infection. Not to mention Dr. Barai was so rude and nasty. I would never return to this place of business!! If you don't want to catch an infection don't even bother to go to this place. The doctor is obviously too cheap to hire a housekeeper.

Let me preface by saying I started going to this office a while ago and have had no complaints with neither the office nor the staff until recently. Mainly my complaint is the break down in communication via telephone. I had a test done recently and was supposed to come in to get my results, but contracted Covid. Like any responsible person, I notified them and they said they'd schedule me for a telephone appointment, which I appreciated. What I did not appreciate is that said appointment time came and went, and I never received a call back. When I called the office back, they apologized and said the Dr would call before the end of the day. The next day, I called back since the Dr did NOT call, and was told they weren't sure what time the Dr would call. Also left with the instructions to call back after 1pm if I didn't hear from the Dr. - which I did, only to be told the Dr is busy and they would call back. When I pointed out that's what they said yesterday but never called, I am being told that the priority is the patients in office. Why even bother with a "telephone" appointments then? Just say, "sorry you're sick, we'll reschedule you when you're better!" Why are telehealth patients less valuable? Or time isn't as important? I asked to be placed on hold rather than disconnected in the hopes that since they "have the results right there by the phone and are just waiting for the Dr", they could just grab him to read them in between patients. It's been over an hour already and the line already disconnected twice (I don't know if they hung up on me or if it disconnected spontaneously). Hopefully someone will come on the line soon, but thankfully, since I'm sick I've got the time to wait. Edited because after the second disconnect, my calls aren't going through to the office anymore.

I'm a new patient at this facility and I have been here twice so far. Everyone in the office is so nice and professional and takes their time explaining everything. The APN, Mayour, is so knowledgeable and passionate about his job and is great at making patients feel at ease. As a fellow nurse, I appreciate that he takes into account me as a whole instead of just focusing on the cardiac system. I definitely recommend this facility to any adult needing cardiac and vascular care.

Took my father for his 6 month check up he had a 12pm appointment and waited over an hour and a half to be seen. With no courtesy of anyone in the office explaining or apologizing for the tardiness. We come from a distance to see this provider otherwise we would have left. Terrible service.

This office is amazing. Patients are well taken care of and they make you feel like you matter.
