I saw Dr.Richter in the Cherry Hill office for some cardiac issues I was experiencing along with some other issues pertaining to the cardiac issues that I was unable to get figured out. He spent a good hour plus with me the first visit and was extremely professional and very kind while also being thorough, understanding, and patient with me. I was able to get the proper testing which resulted in a diagnosis all within 2 visits and with that I was able to get a proper treatment plan started after years of struggling with my health. He is a wonderful Physician. I couldn't praise him enough for all he and his staff has done for me in just those two visits! He's truly a special physician and I couldn't thank him enough! The office staff was also amazing, kind, and accommodating! Definitely one of the best Doctors I've ever seen!

Although I did appreciate the time Dr. Richter spent with me, that does not compensate for his failure to treat my tricuspid valve regurgitation early, when I would have had less invasive options to remedy it. In fact, he never made me aware of the deterioration in that valve and the expansion of my atrium. As my energy declined and my breathing worsened, he still didn't discuss the possibility that this was due to tricuspid valve regurgitation. It was only when my daughter got online to read my charts and doctors' notes that we discovered this was a problem. I was fortunate to find an excellent doctor at Morristown Medical Center who replaced my tricuspid valve, which is a very challenging open heart surgery. If this had been addressed earlier, I could have been a candidate for a noninvasive procedure allowing me to avoid the long and arduous recovery from open heart surgery. I am still angry and disappointed with Dr. Richter for never discussing this problem with me. Beware and check your portals!!

I just wanted to leave a positive review for Dr. Douglas M. Richter, MD and his office. When I was having Cardiac concerns Dr. Richter's office got me an appointment within 2 days. Dr. Richter was kind, compassionate and listened to all my complaints during a meeting that lasted most of an hour. (I think he gave up his lunch time.) His office staff patiently worked with me to get me follow up testing within a week. I'm a difficult patient and he and his staff never lost patience with me during this stressful time. I would heartily recommend Dr. Richter for any of your cardiac issues.

Dr Richter took care of me in an emergent situation! Sent me directly to Cooper for pacemaker,and I am doing very well! Care since that time has been wonderful!

Great cardiologist, detail oriented, precise, skilled analyst and takes the required time to complete each exam with detailed explanation of treatment,medications and progress. Highly recommend his services for he is patient oriented and explains each test and procedure in great detail and clarity.
