Dr. Andras Peter, MD

Dr. Peter was my primary care physician for 27 years! In that time I thought the world of him. He saw me through many health issues. Up until the end. He has recently changed his nursing and office staff. Nurse Lynn understandably has a lot of pressure running the very busy office. But the end started with a missed appointment in which I called during business hours and before my appointment time to inform the office staff I was too sick to come in for my appointment. I was charged a $50 no-show fee. It got worse from there. On my next visit, I was still not feeling well and I asked for a note bc I missed an appointment. Usually was no big deal. Shortly after I received a letter in the mail stating Dr Peter was no longer my primary care physician. I called, and left numerous messages with no acknowledgment from the office. I was looking for another primary care physician because Dr Peter had me on addictive medication. My next choice, whom I didn't contract for other reasons called Nurse Lynn from Dr Peter office and had a less than complimentary conversation about me. HIPPA?? I didn't give my consent to either Dr and this was done without my knowledge. I found out bc one of the Dr put this on My Chart notes. Now it is permanently on my chart. I am so disappointed Dr Peter.

Dr Andrea Peter receptionist and all workers in the Dr office are very generous polite understanding caring and very polite very nice people and they have all the respect for their patients very highly recommend from Bobbijo

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I tried to schedule an appointment with this doctor and a woman from his staff called me. From the beginning, she was very racist - she started mocking my accent. English is not my first language, but I speak well and people understand me. However, this lady mocked me and acted as if she didn't understand me, and tried to mimic the words I said in a weird way.

Dr. Peter's staff are unprofessional and unreliable. They never pick up the phone when you call the office. They don't return your calls or follow up and it is very hard to get a live person on the phone. Not to mention the office hours at ridiculous for a full time practice, where most days they close at 3pm. If you need a pre-authorization for anything, forget it, its like pulling teeth! Horrible customer service! Do not recommend.

I have been going to Dr Peter for years and he is by far the absolute best doctor I have ever met. He is very nice, caring, calm, understanding and compassionate with his patients. His office staff is also great. They do their best to go above and beyond to make sure that the patient has everything they need.
