Athena Huang, MD, is a member of Summit Health's Cardiology team. Dr. Huang decided to pursue health care to help people sustain and improve their health through education, shared decision making, and the development of long-term relationships. She is particularly interested in congestive heart failure, women's cardiovascular health, and preventive cardiology. She also achieved advanced training in echocardiography with special focus on structural and valvular heart disease.Dr. Huang believes that the best approach to patient care is to listen to the patient. She thinks it's crucial to be open-minded and really listen to what patients are saying. This approach leads to more effective discussions about diagnosis and treatment options. Dr.
