My experience with this practice and with Dr. Asif has been very disappointing. He told my father that he'd be dead in a year. So we went to a new one who was more positive and more of a drive. Guess what my dad did not die in a year in fact still alive but couldn't keep going to the good doctor anymore due to the long drive and work schedule so tried to find different doctors closer to home. They sucked and then went back to Dr.Asif to give him a go again he asked my dad how come he hasn't been to appointments in 5 years. Wasn't even looking at his chart to see he was with another doctor during that timeframe. Also when he tried to listen to my dad's heart my father still had his winter jacket on so how could he properly listen to it. Then the next appointment my dad had with him he actually thought my dad was a new patient and couldn't believe we my dad has been with him for two years now and he said no then looked at his chart and said oh yes your right. Now I'm getting my dad a new cardiologist because this one can't be trusted and honestly should have his head examined. This place also has the worst hours being 11AM-4PM and the office looks like it has never updated since the 90s since they have paper charting no emr. It's almost impossible to get on the phone with these people and to schedule an appointment for echo, stress, pacemaker or defibrillator you have to call Bayonne hospital and try to get Anthony to make it and he's another one that's hard to get on the phone as well. Like come on why can't you people contact the hospital to schedule the appointment and make sure the RX is correct so there won't be any issues. This place is a joke. How the practice survives I don't know but I'm not letting my dad continue being here. I'd rather deal with a long drive to a good one then deal with this terrible place close to home.
