Absolutely terrible experience. I was seen at the ER for chest pains and told to call this office to make an appointment and that doing so needed to be done quickly to ensure my safety. The ER doctor I worked with spoke to the doctor in this office and I was told with no uncertainties this is who I follow up with. I called at 8 am asking a few questions in a voicemail, never received a call back. Got a call from Portsmouth Regional's phone number to schedule an appointment with this office, myself and the operator sat on hold for 51 minutes before he apologized for my trouble and told me he would sort out my appointment and I would receive an email with details. No email ever came. I called back around 4 pm only to leave another voicemail. When I got a call back a few moments later I was unlucky enough to speak to one of the rudest and least empathetic people I've met in this field. The receptionist told me coldly that they received no paperwork for me and that the document I had in my hand stating I was referred to their office was no good. I got to the point of tears asking what I was supposed to do next when I was given this office and this phone number as my next step. Absolutely zero empathy was had by whoever I spoke to. I called the ER back and was met with complete confusion and was told this WAS in fact all they need to be able to see me and they suggested I call back and ask for her manager. I work in the medical field. I understand referrals are needed and documentation must be present but the way this woman acted was an absolute disgrace. I was able to rush into a new primary care office and will be having a referral sent elsewhere as I am so disgusted with my experience here I will never visit this practice or ask for help again. Could not be more disappointed

Dr. D. Is an exceptional practitioner and he has been my cardiologist for about 10 years now he's intelligent. He's got a good sense of humor and he's a straight shooter. You definitely in good hands if you like to go with Dr. D.

Don't call this office if you have no primary doctor or no medical records. I have no records or primary doctor at the moment. I have a PPO so I don't not need a referral but the secretary was rude and unsympathetic to my situation. Instead of trying to resolve the problem she hung up on me. So if you don't want rude unsympathetic office staff just hanging up on you because you can't provide what they want, I suggest calling somewhere else. This is by far the worst experience with a doctors office I have ever had. I feel abandoned by the health care system. It's not about health anymore, it's all about money and that's the bottom line.

I was highly impressed with my care from Dr. Dourdoufis. He performed a Cardioversion on me at Portsmouth Regional Hospital on Monday the 19th of Jan 2021. The procedure team performed like clockwork. It was done ahead of schedule and I was discharged the next day. Nothing but positive from me. He was also quite good at follow up on Tues and answered all my questions about my heart.

Dr Dourdoufis is a great listener, approachable, and a very professional Cardiologist. I value his opinion and Cardiac care.
