Went through two videos appts for my child for potential ADHD. First appt was a nurse who vetted whether my kid fit the criteria for possible ADHD, and in so deciding she was a candidate to see the actual doctor. I was told the first appt with the Dr was a video one to determine whether she had ADHD or not, and the second appt had to be in person for medication. I stressed we weren't sure we wanted to take a medication route, but only wanted to know for sure if she has ADHD or not. The appt with the Dr to determine was strange and a bit stressful with the line of questioning. It was very unclear where he was trying to go with it all, except that it was supposed to lead to a dx if she was indeed ADHD. Instead, we wasted over an hr with little clarity, and no dx either way, but an in person appt for medication. If you aren't able to diagnose people, why are you giving them medication (speed) without a diagnosis?! Canceled the in person appt. It was a waste of time unless you want to drug your kid on a "maybe." Then when I called to ask about it, I was told "I don't know where the confusion came from; we don't do diagnosis." Like I had two heads for thinking that. It's literally why the pediatrician referred us. I was clear all along we were probably not interested in medication at her age. So strange. It's even stranger bc they dxes both my kids with autism when they were younger. You can do that but not ADHD....???

Would not recommend coming here. I was a patient with adhd and would as all people with actual adhd had trouble with appointments sometimes I'd be working and lose track of time or something and miss an appointment. But I would strongly suggest not using this place as what they did to me was completely unethical. I had a medical emergency on a day I had an appointment and I called to let them know and offered to bring over paperwork to show that I was at a hospital during the appointments time they said it was okay and rescheduled me over the phone for a month later. The problem was that they stopped my medication refill and canceled my appointment and never even told me then said I can't come back. No call nothing they said they mailed something... so basically they will dismiss if you miss an appointment and have a medical emergency... and a very well known fact of adhd is also trouble with time and keeping appointments. So basically they will just kick you out for your medical condition. Nice job guys.

If you are looking for actual help..... run! Was a patient for years and after the departure of my last doctor I had to jump through many hoops to even be assigned to a different one. It when I told them I wasn't clicking with the new one they threw me out.... Refused to continue my long time medications and even kept hanging up on me when I called. I call them the "UN-MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC". they are so bad I've given all my proof to an attorney and given my adult kids his card in case something happens to me while I detox from the medication I've been on for years......

I don't write google reviews unless absolutely necessary, this one is necessary. If you're looking to go to this hospital for any sort of actual psychiatric help, choose somewhere else. I stayed in their inpatient unit voluntarily for six days. On the fourth day I spent five hours intermittently banging my head against a wall. They have cameras in the rooms and pretty much anywhere but the bathroom. They have someone watch the cameras 24/7. I was asked a few times if I was ok. Never asked about harming myself. I had to tell them myself. Which sure that's fine. But after I told the nurse I was pretty much berated and told I should be thankful for the life I have I am blessed. As someone who is seriously mentally ill this is the worst thing you can say. Anyways. Was watched all night, that is fine, actually reasonable at this point. Come the next day we have treatment team. I walk in to a room of five people staring at me with more contempt than my 19 years old suicidal self could handle. No empathy. No soul. Asked the routine questions. "We're going to discharge you around Friday." Well I mean that's only two days away, might as well go tomorrow. I signed a 24 hour because I knew they were kicking me out for liability. They Told me I should've asked for help, I was voluntary after all. As they watched me harm myself for hours. The morning of treatment team I reported severe suicidal thoughts and they wanted to discharge me in two days. I was obviously "too sick" for them. Thanks pathways, you just released someone who was obviously actively suicidal and actively self harming. You're wonderful.

Wait time for appointment is excessive. Too many "hoops" to jump through just to get an appointment. Missed initial counseling session, when realized and called to reschedule, was not offered an option and clinical director did not allow option to reschedule and instead withdrew me from the program. This is a mental health treatment center!! Of course people that are NOT MENTALLY STABLE MAY HAVE ISSUES WOTH REMEMBERING THEIR APPOINTMENTS. It says a lot about the program that is so quick to drop a client. Med provider was also super judgemental and did not bother to follow up around if I was suicidal or safe. She changed my entire medication regimen, with me voicing I didn't think I'd be able to follow the regimen, she responds with "just give it a try anyway". Guess what? It didn't work. I work in human services and I am just so disappointed with the services and treatment I received from Elliot Behavioral Health. I WILL NOT BE REFERRING ANYONE TO THIS PROGRAM MOVING FORWARD BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE. This is so disappointing. We can do better!!!
