Dr. Swackhamer is awesome! He is very thorough in his diagnosis and treatment and takes the time to really care about his patients. I so appreciate him following up after tests and procedures and he actually takes the time to answer questions. The kind of care received from Dr Swackhamer is rare to find in today's medical environment.

Dr. Swackhamer is a wonderful doctor. He listens, truly listens, and takes my experience into account. He is practical in his approach, clear in his explainations, he works with me to develop a care plan and understands that I need to be an active participant in my care. I know I am getting excellent care in his office, I trust him completely.

He was at St Mary's on a Saturday to give me a stint some 12.5 years ago after my heart attack and it's been perfect ever since. I see him about twice a year and he explains the whys and wherefores of my blood tests clearly and without drama. His demeanor is always pleasant and upbeat. I've had no further problems under his care and I'm now 78. In my opinion, he's simply an excellent cardiologist.
