There are two things to go over in this review. Care and food. #1 Care: Fantastically on point and attentive in every way. Not for a moment did I feel like I was left to figure things out on my own or made to deal with discomfort or issues from my condition by myself. All my nurses, breathing treatment people, vitals check staff, nutritionists, and lab work rockstars in T7, you gals and guys rock! I love you! Keep up the outstanding work! Hopefully, the next time we meet, it will be under much better circumstances. #2 Food: This one im treating as if I went to a restaurant because it's pretty similar. Only it's a set menu and all room service! Food was overall pretty good, to be honest. Maybe I got lucky with whatever my diet restrictions might have been. I had no control over any of that. But I was impressed at how much I actually enjoyed and looked forward to seeing what the next meal was. Im including a menu and pictures of what I had while I was here as a fun way of killing time on my three day observation stay. Does it look like what you would think hospital food would look like? Im sure it does, lol. But when in Rome, enjoy the ride! I have always felt that if im at someone's home or work, I should do my best to be a good guest. That, i feel, should be applied to if I have to go to the hospital too. I hope this little review helps someone going through the hard situation of having to stay in the hospital. Hopefully, this gives you something to laugh at a little while you search out other peoples experiences at this place. Be well out there, my friends!

My wife and I drove in from Winnemucca as I made an appointment to get checked out as I was having chest pressure and swollen feet and ankles and legs for 4 days. And given my cardiac issues, I didn't want to chance it. My appointment was with Ruth Skinner APRN. I couldn't have found a better provider, she listened to my concerns and did an EKG and after an exam, she recommended that I go to the ER and called for an ambulance as I wasn't in any condition to sit in the car for too much longer and possibly be admitted for observation. She is without a doubt perhaps the best provider here. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome and I would without hesitation recommend her to anyone.

I wonder what people think after they tell the patient that they would get the message to the doctor and then I called being that I really needed to know the results of the test being it would of been my first complete test since I was told that I have A-Fib caused by blood clots. I was told that she was in a meeting and would call me back. It's past 5pm and no call. I wonder if I should send back the heart monitor since most are in a hurry.

Jocelyn Schneider has gone above and beyond in caring for my father. She called me (his daughter) after his appt and with his permission once she noticed his declined memory and ability to understand the information presented. She listened patiently to all of my concerns above and beyond cardiology and assured me that her and her team would be there to support my father any way they can. She was knowledgeable, compassionate, and empathetic to our family. in a time of crisis. This was more helpful and appreciated that I can explain. thank you!
