Dear Dr. Knackstedt, it has been almost 5 years since you did the most amazing open heart triple bi-pass surgery on me. After surgery, I walked down the hall of the ICU to "Eye of the Tiger" with wires hooked to me! Lisa Cavin was so amazing, what an attitude that young lady has! You were all wonderful. I have lead an amazing active life since. All because of you and your staff! I have been fishing, hiking, traveling, snorkeling, ziplining, white water rafting, sky diving, golfing, building stuff, taking care of all my business without any concerns. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Especially for how approachable, humorous and warm you were. Love to you all, Walt

If you care about your heart and overall health and well-being, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT having knackstad as your surgeon! After months of planning and preparing for open heart surgery...Dr. knackstad cancelled my surgery THE DAY OF THE SURGERY! my entire family was there and most had taken off work just to be there!! Nobody, not even Dr. Knackstad felt the need to maybe explain why he thought I no longer deserved to live?!?! Absolutely most horrific experience I've EVER HAD!!!and now I must go through it ALL over again hopefully with a unbiased surgeon who doesn't discriminate!!
