Approximately 6 years ago I was lucky to get this surgeon. I had finally found a good cardiologist in Reno. Under his care it was discovered that I had heart valve condition , I was referred to Dr. Roumanas and of course very scared, I had dealt with heart symptoms for many years and this was the big decision. He was very informative and up front with my husband and myself. I felt I was in good hands and I am very thankful for his expertise and dedication.

3-29-18 Dr Roumanas did an Aortic Valve Replacement. Very informative and discussed options in full. By April 5 (following discharge must do's) I was able to walk in park 1.5 miles; As of May 4th, I have built my walking/hiking up to 6.8 miles. You can barely see my scar. Very happy with surgery and outcome.
