Heart of Dixie Cardiology & Vein and Vascular Center

I had the privilege of following Justin Poole, PA-C during my cardiology/vein and vascular rotation, and I was truly impressed by his expertise and patient-centered approach. He is an exceptional listener, always ensuring he understands his patients' concerns and needs. His knowledge in cardiology is outstanding, and he demonstrates a high level of skill in managing heart conditions. It was an amazing experience learning from someone who combines professionalism with compassion. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking excellent cardiovascular care!

Walked in for a pre-op EKG. There was 1 person in front of me who went into the exam as I arrived. During that time another patient arrived. 35 minutes later the first patient came out. The receptionist asked the "Doctor" on duty if I could go in and have my EKG. She the"Doctor" said No and proceeded to take the patient that arrived after me. 40 minutes later, patient # 2 came out and I was called into the exam. The EKG took less than 3 minutes to perform and I was done. I'm very disappointed with the Doctor who was on duty at the time and was unable to think clearly and realize that an EKG takes 5 minutes tops to perform. I guess it's a good thing that I didn't have my BP taken for waiting so long.

I have had 4 appointments and they have all been a really good experience. The office staff is very pleasant and helpful. I have not had any waiting except maybe 15 mins for one appointment and that was for my ECG. My appointments have been with Lonnie Krause NP-C and he's very pleasant and put me at ease. It's so nice and relaxing to have an office so close to home with no worries of traveling to LV or St George for appointments. I'm so glad that this place opened up. Thank you :-)

The NP I met with scheduled a scan of the veins in my leg which they did in the Mesquite office. Initially I checked in with the receptionist and was advised the person who did the scanning would be available "in a few minutes". Thereafter I sat in a corner of the reception room for 45 minutes without any acknowledgement from the staff as to why I was waiting or when I could get a scan. After 45 minutes I checked with the receptionish who again stated "the person who performs the scans will be available in a few minutes." The NP I met with indicated the scans took about an hour but nobody wanted to tell me why at 8:45 am the scanner was already abt an hour behind. I have no argument with the NP I met with but the Mesquite office has a signicant communication problem! I am looking for another practice to deal with my veins

First-time visit went very well. Doctor was very good and thorough about explaining symptoms. Office staff was very pleasant and helpful.
