I have been reaching out to get a simple clearance from this office. The medical assistant for Dr. Mock never returns our calls or simply fax back the medical clearance for the patient. Unfortunately, we have to cancel our patients surgery appointment which has been on the schedule for over a month. This is one of the most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with. What is the point of having a medical assistant who does not do their job? Don't you have a lists of tasks to do in which one of them is checking messages from other providers? It might be better to go to this clinic and stand there all day to get something done! ZERO stars.

Westside Cardiology is the WORST, the medical staff is unprofessional and unorganized. On my first visit I had to wait almost an hour to see the doctor, this is with all my forms being filled out, and then the Medical Assistant (MA) treats me like I'm stupid. As I'm taking off my jacket to place it in the chair the MA says "No I'm going to have you sit on the exam chair". Really!?! Can a girl just take off her jacket? Dr. Mock is a nice enough man, but the office is so run down and so is his team. Just recently I called to reschedule an appointment and didn't even receive a proper greeting after the 10th ring, I just a "Hello". I had to ask if I was calling Westside Cardiology. First she asked me when my appoint was, and while I was explaining the reason for the reschedule (totally unnecessary) she stopped me to ask how to spell a medication that Dr. Mock prescribed to me. Again, what!?! I don't know, I haven't received the medication yet, which I already stated. At this point I asked if she could see my file and she said no, they don't use electronic patient records. No wonder they are so disorganized, they don't use any form of modern technology. Correction...they have computers at the front desk, but they don't use an electronic record system. If they were more organized and a bit more friendly I would consider staying with them, but they aren't so I'm not. I wish all their future patients well, I hope they don't die do to poor communication.
