He is also a Member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Nevada State Medical Association, and Clark County Medical Society. Dr. Green is currently a member of the Board of Trustees at MountainView Hospital, where he has been Secretary of Staff, Chairman of Medicine, and has served two terms as Chief of Staff. Dr. Green practices general cardiology with special emphasis on nuclear cardiology and transesophageal echocardiography.

I have sen Dr Green for a few years now and feel he is one of the best practitioners that I have seen. He has taken care of my cardiac health and also makes sure that I am getting all the yearly exams to check my overall health. Since I was a smoker years ago he had me do a low dose CT scan to check for cancer. This was something my general practitioner didn't even suggest. The scan found I had lung disease that I was able to catch early and I received treatment that will prolong my life. He cares about his patients and is an extremely competent MD. His office staff is also great.
I was referred to Dr. Sam Green after becoming frustrated with my previous cardiologist. I immediately noticed the difference and came to trust his competence and concern for my cardiac care. I recently completed open heart surgery and will do follow up care with Dr. Green in a few days.
