I had a very disappointing experience at Nevada Heart and Vascular Center on Burnham Avenue during my appointment on November 10, 2025, at 3:10 PM. The medical assistant -- an African American male wearing a PIMA Medical Institute uniform (possibly a student or extern) -- failed to perform proper hand hygiene before putting on gloves for my ECG procedure. As a Registered Nurse, I politely reminded him about the importance of sanitizing his hands, but instead of accepting the feedback professionally, he became defensive and rude, accusing me of being disrespectful. That reaction alone was very unprofessional and concerning for a healthcare setting. The overall clinic atmosphere was also unfriendly and unwelcoming. The front and back staff lacked courtesy, and I overheard them asking patients for personal details like dates of birth in open areas -- which is not appropriate and violates patient privacy. The doctor I saw was dismissive and lacked empathy. He started the encounter by bluntly asking, "How can I help you?" even though my referral and information were already in his file. His heart assessment lasted only a few seconds, with minimal explanation or discussion of my concerns. It felt rushed and careless, as if he just wanted to move on to the next patient. I'm now scheduled for a follow-up test at a different location and sincerely hope the experience there will be more professional and patient-centered. This Burnham Avenue location was a waste of time, very disappointing, and left me extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend this clinic based on my experience.

The physicians at this office are excellent -- highly skilled, compassionate, and attentive to their patients' needs. However, the front office and scheduling staff are in need of serious improvement. One staff member in particular has been consistently short and dismissive over the phone, which comes across as unprofessional and discourteous. I attempted to leave messages on three separate occasions with the scheduling team and never received a return call. When I called to confirm my husband's outpatient heart procedure -- for which I had already received a email confirmation -- I was told he was not even on the schedule. This level of disorganization and poor communication is unacceptable, especially when dealing with patients who have heart conditions. The unnecessary stress this creates for families is deeply concerning. I hope the office leadership addresses these administrative issues, as the doctors' outstanding care is being overshadowed by the lack of professionalism in the front office.

Had an appointment were Dr ordered test 3 to be exact. set appointment for 2pm Oct 10th 2025. was told to prep for test no eating no caffine lots of water. I arrived as instructed 15 minutes early checked in told to take a seat they would call me. I waited an hour and a half no one called me. Went to desk to reschedule as I could no wait any longer. The person at the counter looked up my file an said she did not know what happened and why I was not called after a 1 1/2 hour wait. Never did get test, a terribly unorganized office , the entire office appears to be overbooked at least 35 people waiting. Time to look for another office, wish I would have read reviews first.

Two stars because the Doctor Zubair Khan was excellent. Scheduling and Billing, nope. Gave them BOTH Insurance cards at the time of service & after multiple calls...im still being billed.. It's taken years to get over 750 credit& now i have a new PT job trying to defend it...

4 patients showed up for their scheduled appointments to be told they were canceled (NOT rescheduled, just canceled) and that someone called to advise of the cancellation. No, they did not, no call & certainly no voicemail. The doctors are great, the front desk staff needs major improvement. Stressing out heart patients must be good for business.
