Dr spacavento is great. He has a great bedside manner. The office is the problem. I saw him 3 weeks ago for a regular checkup. I waited two and a half to three hours in the waiting room. I only got to spend about 2 minutes with the doctor and he told me he wanted to prescribe a new medication. It's been 3 weeks since I've seen him but the pharmacy can't fill it because they need a prayer authorization. For the last 3 weeks I've been calling his office three times a week. I've left messages for his medical assistant a supervisor and others but no one has called me back. Find me today after calling the main number for scheduling I explained that I don't know what to do they were able to get the medical assistant on the phone. She screamed at me it was very rude and said she sent it. What you sent was a prescription not the authorization but she was screaming at me and didn't seem to want to listen. Something similar happened a few years I go when he prescribes something else. After a few months of not being able to get the prescription filled I had to go through my primary care doctor to get it filled.

Absolutely outstanding experience! Dr. Spaccavento is a truly wise and experienced cardiologist who took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease. I left feeling confident, cared for, and in excellent hands. Highly recommended !

I cannot believe how unbelievably unprofessional and careless these people are. My father with a walker and heart issues was dropped off for his 10:30 am appointment this morning in front of their Pecos office only to find it EMPTY!!! Their own website still shows their location at this 7305 Pecos!!! So does this Google Maps entry I'm reviewing. The text reminders for the appointment my father got mentioned no changes. The texts they sent me mentioned no changes. Now he calls me and he's back home. How many months does he have to wait now for his next appointment?!

I have been with Dr. Spaccavento about 4-5 years and he listens to the patient very well and he is very knowledgeable about the heart & Cardio. I highly recommend him because he talks to you in terms that the average person can understand and all of his staff are great as well. Thanks for all of your help. George H.

Great doctor and office staff. Not much wait time which I love. Dr Spaccavento takes his time with you, and listens to what you say. Does not over prescribe but makes sure you get what you need to keep you heart healthy
