Patient Reviews

Patient

Dr. Kamboj might be amazing but I never got to know because my entire 4 hours at the clinic was spent dealing with the front desk staff. I met with the actual doctor for maybe like 5-10 minutes and the rest of the time was spent on being patient with the front office staff. To top it off, they charged me for 45-59 minutes with the doctor even though, again, I spent barely 5 minutes with the guy just to have him say I need to get a referral and come back. I was charged hundreds of dollars for 5 minutes of his time. What a deal save yourself the trouble and the money, do not come here.

Dr. Kamboj is one of the best doctors in town! He truly cared about me and my situation. He spent time with me during my appointment and was personable unlike most doctors in town! He has changed the staff around so you won't have to worry about any of that. If you want a doctor that truly cares, he's the best choice.

Doc Kamboj is hands down the best doctor I have ever encountered in my 51 years of life. I have been battling health issues since I was 2 years old, so I may be one of the most qualified people to evaluate doctors from a patients perspective. I was fortunate enough to meet doc during a hospital visit about 8 years ago. That is where he saved my life for the first of three times. Doc has gone the extra mile in getting me back to good health. He has taken phone calls when out of state. He has called doctors to ensure that I was getting the appropriate treatment even when it was issues outside of his purview. I have recommended no less than a half dozen other patients to doc and they all rave about his care. As I said in my opening, I've encountered a lot of doctors in my life and some good ones, but none of them match up to Dr. Kamboj. I have and would recommend anyone I know to doc.

Dr. Kamboj himself is fine. His staff at the N Buffalo office is the worst! It's been a LONG time since I've run into such poor customer service at any doctor's office! They have terrible phone manners. Not one of them has ever identified themselves when you call and speak with them. They can't tell you if you need a referral (or not) for subsequent treatment by other medical professionals, they can't give you ANY estimate of what your co-payments will be and when you offer to pay whatever co-payment is due after the procedure (echo cardiogram and sleep study) they have no idea how much to charge you! This staff is so incompetent that I doubt this office is profitable for Dr. Kamboj. I think he needs to fire the office manager and hire someone who knows how to run an office and staff. Dealing with the staff to schedule an appointment and/or follow-up after the appointment is such a headache that we don't plan to go back to see Dr. Kamboj. Dr, I sure hope you read this. Very disappointing experience.

Unprofessional, unorganized, the doctor doesn't read the patient file on existing patients so you often have to re-explain everything. There's a reason patients can make a quick appointment with this doctor. Spent close to $2,000 on tests not covered by insurance that were worthless, but the doctor insisted on them before any of symptoms could be addressed. After 4 tests showed normal, 2 appointments, he sent me on my way and said there's nothing to worry about. Six months later still having symptoms of heart pain. Made a new appointment, he tries to convince me these symptoms are in my head and this is anxiety. I pushed back and he prescribed medicine, but not sure if this will resolve the problem. If it doesn't, will have to look for a new cardiologist. This doctor is in my health insurance network, but the office staff purposely charged me a higher co-pay and refused to refund the difference 3 separate times. Look elsewhere for a cardiologist.
