I would give 10 stars if I could ! My daughter had noticed swelling in her legs and upper arms that was disproportionate to her body type and not responsive to consistent exercise. Her gyn noticed it in passing but did not address it. On our own we found some social media posts about Lipedema and asked her primary doctor if she might have this condition. The answer was no, just maybe some venous insufficiency. We feel so fortunate that we persisted and found Dr Celestin. She listened, examined via hands-on, and gave so much information about Lipedema, plus referrals to help us on our path for this new challenge. Reassuring, compassionate, attentive, professional-- she meets every criteria that you hope for when consulting with a physician. We are so grateful.

Dr. Celestin is a very caring cardiologist. She took her time to examine my lab results and asked me about any heart related medical symptoms before handing me off to her assistant Thao to conduct the CIMT (Carotid Intima-Media Thickness) imaging, a noninvasive ultrasound test that measures the thickness of the inner and middle layers (intima and media) of the carotid arteries. This measurement helps detect early signs of atherosclerosis (plaque buildup). After the CIMT measurements were done, Dr. Celestin analyzed the results to assess my risk for cardiovascular disease, such as heart attack and stroke. Fortunately, the CIMT imaging showed that I do not have any plague buildup in my carotid arteries and the thickness of the intima and media layers are within the expected range of someone who is 17 years younger than my chronological age. I was elated to hear about this good news and we mutually agree that today's imaging would serve as a good baseline for comparisons in any future assessments. Unlike most other doctors, Dr. Celestin encouraged me to continue with the proactive use of natural remedies along with any necessary lifestyle changes for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. I highly recommend everyone to have CIMT imaging done. In my opinion, it is much more useful and much less expensive than the various types of stress test that other cardiologists use to assess stroke and heart attack risks. It not only detects the presence of any calcified plague in your carotid arteries. More importantly, CIMT can also detect the presence and early formation of the more dangerous soft plague in the arteries.

We had our first visit with Dr Celestin this morning. To say FANTASTIC. Is an understatement . Dr Celestin listens to everything you say. She takes all your doctors information and reaches out for your records plus she sends her findings to all of them. She is definitely a one in a million doctor and person. She is just a wonderful person she makes you feel very comfortable. I can't recommend her enough for sure. Other great thing about her practice is the testing is done right there which is a great plus she sees the results right then and there. No running all over to make appointments to get the tests and then wait for her to get the results. If you need a vascular doctor Dr Celestin is the one.
