I've been with Dr. Shah for 12 years because he's the best! Plan on waiting because he spends whatever time is necessary for each client. If you want to be herded through like cattle then go somewhere else. If you want a doctor who is knowledgeable, thorough, caring, and will take his time treating you properly, then doctor Shah is who you want!

I'm giving a rating on DR. Shah's knowledge and ability to medically help. Yes, you may need to wait in the waiting room, that's what it's for. It's only because when you sit down with Dr. Shah you are normally there from 30-60 minutes, face-to-face with him. How often does that happen with any other doctor? You can ask as many questions as you want and engage him in important details about your health. I personally find comfort in his abundance of knowledge. The guy knows what he's talking about! No, I do not enjoy waiting. I am a very impatient guy. However, I know that he will give me the same attention he is giving the person who is before me.

Physicians are very careful indeed who we ourselves see for our own personal medical care. Dr. Shah is simply OUTSTANDING as an internist and cardiologist--he is one of the most brilliant physicians I have ever known with a multidisciplinary memory across many medical specialties. He has a methodical mind which systematically considers different diagnoses to arrive at the process to ultimately find the correct diagnosis utilizing his vast network of top-notch colleagues in different specialties. I have personally seen him work hours extra to make sure his patient got the best possible care--even on his day off or after normal working hours, often with little or no compensation from insurance--just to DO the RIGHT THING. He cares about his patients; they are not just numbers to him. What a lot of people don't realize is that often payment after insurance is only a fraction of what the patient is charged since the insurance is the middleman, often paying doctors very little a year later...The honorable ones like Dr. Shah do their best for their patients anyway, regardless of how little it may or may not be appreciated or how little they are actually paid. I have sent many people I know to him and we all agree on the quality, the concern, and the enormous effort he takes to do his best for us. Highly Recommended!

Dr. Shah is very thorough and takes a wholistic approach to cardiac health. He helped to coordinate care of multiple issues (non-cardiac) with his care plan where there might have been conflicting indications. Spends as much time as needed with patients which sometimes puts him behind on schedule.

Staff is wonderful and caring. Dr. Shah takes his time in discussing your life and stress affecting you, recommendations given for every aspect. He has thorough follow-ups and consults, reviewing every test, making it easy to understand! Highly recommended!
