Dr . Sheihk is an excellent doctor but hes very busy. Hes focuses on your health problem. His medical assistant is very nice.The front office is horrible. The phone lines are terrible. If you call on the phone to try to make an appointment you are put on hold for over 11/2 hrs sometimes 2. I had to call 3 days in a row several times and I was put on hold for 2 hours one day. If you select callback. You can Forget about a call back you won't get it. Once you get through they don't have follow up appointments for two months. If you want to speak to a supervisor or manager two messages, you can leave a message but you never get a call back. They always say they are changing over to new computers. Or some excuse. There are alot of doctors and offices to choose from all over town.

Dr Sheikh is an amazing Dr. I'm so grateful he takes my insurance. He is a very busy person though and works in multiple locations and I never know which location to go to when I need a paper signed.

I really like the dr but his office staff sucks. They do not return phone calls. I called and left at least 8 messages and even when I reached a person they said I would get a call back which never happened.
I was scheduled for two ultrasounds and a CTV.
I waited for months as they won't let you go to just any imaging place (Steinberg Southwest etc). They make you do it in their offices.
I first saw the dr in Feb. the following Jan my appointments were finally getting close and they called and canceled because I had a new insurance (which they take). I told them I'd call and get a new referral and they refused to wait for that and canceled my appointments. Rather than wait another year I am changing my cardiologist.

I really like Dr. Sheikh and respect him as a top notch cardiologist but I wish he would take the time to explain things and answer my questions so that I can participate more effectively in my own well being. I don't feel like he listens to my concerns or tries to help me understand whether they are legit or not. The most I've learned about my heart problems has come from good ol Google.
