I had my baby girl here at the Birth Center in July 2025 and the experience was truly amazing. I had to be readmitted a week later due to postpartum complications but ALL of the nurses and administrative personnel were very helpful, patient, kind and memorable.
My family and I felt welcome and at "home". The food was better than anticipated and pretty enjoyable, especially the cheesecake!
The only thing I didn't "like" was that the phlebotomists were so good at their job, taking blood quickly, I was left bruised on more than one occasion. I completely understand they have a lot of patients to poke but I am not particularly fond of needles so it was a bit of a shock. Maybe a little more bedside manner would have helped smooth things over.
All in all, I would highly recommend having your baby here if you are looking for a prime location and lovely staff experience. I was actually somewhat sad to leave each time plus the view was incredible! Thank you SO much for helping me through my health journey and truly taking care of my family!

Staff were efficient and friendly each time I was hospitalized over the last few years. This is compared to The first time I was hospitalized at Saint Rose about Nine years ago. At that time, the hospital Intake was chaotic. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed. The clarity of what was going on. It's cloudy. since then Vast improvement regardless of Peak busy times Which I have experienced As a patient over the years. The only thing I would Say that needs improvement is better communication between hospital doctors and private doctor regarding medication. Also getting my medication was incredibly chaotic as I had to keep repeating the medication Use and Dosage which were still incorrect, but I was too Exhausted to push for more accuracy. Bottom line communication regarding medication was and has been broken. Also, I was given a list of medications Upon discharge, which did not lineup with my private doctors and it took me almost a month to get an appointment to clarify if any changes need to be made or if new medication needs to be continued the discharge papers were not clear in this matter. Summary intake, staff Treatment were outstanding. Medication mix ups we're Frequent.

I had a great experience with all the staff, they were so kind even when I was having rough times. Some nurses went above and beyond to help me and my husband who stayed at the hospital with me for 11 days. I am so grateful for the staff and the attention to my needs and the caring personalities. They got to know me and my family by name. If you have a choice I would definitely recommend. Shout out to Bruce, Ana, and Ellie, I had them a lot, but if I could remember all their names I would give them all a shout out.

The reason I gave a 3 star rating was only because of 2 incidents with my husband nurses. My husband was there from 11-17-25 to 12-8-25 ICU unit.
One nurse Jessie when she was told by my husband that his suction wasn't working she pretty much told him it was in his head, in all actuality it wasn't working like it should have.
The other Instance was the most disturbing! Nurse Lovie should not be allowed to work this unit period. My husband told her that he was having burning pain in his private part in which he was on purewic catheter and his bladder was not emptying fully which was causing all the pain and burning sensation those symptoms basically ignored until day shift came on but that was not the worst part. My daughter came in and he had poop on his hand and under his nails! My daughter cleaned it and I had to bring a nail kit in order to clean him properly. I spoke with a senior nurse about it and told her I didn't want Nurse Lovie anywhere near him I even asked to speak with the charge nurse never got to see her but they did make sure nurse Lovie was not in his room.
The overall experience was great but the sheer neglect was unbelievable and her excuses to the senior nurse was that she was busy! You have 2 patients and to be so overwhelmed my opinion is work in a clinic! ICU is not for you but wait she did say she was only there temporarily and then she was leaving so maybe she needs help out the door. But I want to give a big thank you to everyone else who helped care for my husband Chris, Tim, mark,Eric, yesica, Rachel,Maria, Marcie, Tara,Faith, Saba and Shelly and if I forgot anyone I apologize.

ON TOP of Everything else we are having to deal with, with Our Dad's current health conditions and this is what we have to sit on, HARD as a rock Makes it Very difficult to be here to help him since they do the BARE minimum. Shame on YOU Dignity Health, you make millions and can't even furnish your patients rooms properly, you should be embarrassed!!!!!!!
