Dr. Blount did a fantastic job of easing our minds. He was personable, friendly, and down to earth making us feel comfortable from the time he walked in the door. He was thorough, took his time explaining what was going on, answered our questions, and went above and beyond with making sure he had the best plan in place for our daughter. I appreciated the way he addressed my daughter involving her in the conversation. He is one of the best! For meeting him for the first time, we recognized how blessed we were with his expertise, patience, and willingness to help us out. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Blount was AMAZING! He spent tons of time explaining my son's diagnosis and recommended treatment in detail. He answered all our questions. He was patient and thoughtful. Just a fabulous doctor and person. Highly recommend. His nursing/support staff were also amazing. We did have issues with the clinic's information system. My son had his name legally changed and brought in all the documentation regarding this name change. They said it was changed in their system and it was in some places, but not in others. For example, wristband had old name with new name only showing as "preferred" name. The health questionnaire on tablet had new name on some pages and old name on others. Some of the discharge paperwork also had old name. For trans people, this can trigger dysphoria. When we brought it up to admin people, they just brushed us off and said it's ok, it is correct in most places. I hope it doesn't cause issues with insurance as that is all in new name. I will note that the medical staff was the opposite. They all used correct name in all interactions. It seems to only be an issue with administrative staff and the IT system.
