Dr. Haysam Akaad, MD

Very easy to talk with and is very knowledgeable. He's the guy I would recommend for any heart concerns. WOW I didn't read all the reviews until I posted mine. I can honestly say I've never seen this range ( 1 to 5 ) on ANY review. I must have seen him instead of his evil twin.

8 years ago I was sent to him by my doctor because of a worrisome EKG. He did a heart cath and told me nothing in my arteries and my heart was fine. Now 8 years later I find that on my medical history he put that my heart was function at 35%! If I hadn't got 3 virus and admitted to the hospital who knows how much longer I would have had on this earth. Please get a second opinion.

Very weirded out by some of the reviews here. My experience was nothing short of great. Wait room time was of approximately 10min (and I had to fill forms as was my first visit!). Front desk staff was kind, nurse and nurse practitioner were also very nice and attentive. But Dr Akkad was hands down the best part of my experience. He is knowledgeable, insightful and caring. He listened to my concers and answered my questions as well as explained my options. I will definitely be coming back and recommend him as a cardiologist.

Dr. Akkad saw me on very short notice due to an ekg reading I got from a different clinician. Dr Akkad was very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He assured me that there was no problem with the ekg I received and explained why in terms I could understand easily. I would highly recommend going to see him for any concerns.

I had a total of 3 appointments with this guy and everyone had me sitting in the waiting room for 2-3 hrs. I would finally get called back to 5 minutes of him interrupting me, not listening to me and hurrying through the appointment. I had to literally raise my voice to stop him from leaving on the last appt to ask a question and he was highly annoyed. I am not saying he is not a good Doctor but he has lost all bedside manner and tact, if he ever had it. Go elsewhere.
