My 97 year old mother with a complicated health history needed an angioplasty. Not only is she an expert clinician and is able to perform this procedure safely and rapidly, her staff is dedicated to ensuring the highest level of coordinated care. Dr Ongstad did a bad job on my amputation. She cut my leg questionably short and left my fibula about an inch longer than my tibia. I know her intentions were good and she was just trying to help but I wish I would've asked someone else to do it. I am now having to see a specialist out of town to fix a bunch of issues I think that could've been avoided. I might be permanently wheelchair bound because of all of this.
Dr. Ongstad really cares and is especially interested in all aspects of her treatment. I had a 4" blockage in my femoral artery and she treated it right away with surgery and follow-ups that give me confidence in my full recovery. She doesn't rush you through like some do and genuinely cares about your life. I would recommend her for my kids, or anyone in the future. Thank you
