Pioneer Heart Institute

First of all, I was referred to the clinic at 9:45 AM, and at 10:00, they called me and got me in THE NEXT DAY! As a disabled person, it's incredibly hard when specialist can't get you in for months and your problem is now. ER's can't do anything for chronic conditions and sometimes it's the only option, so getting in this fast sets PHI apart! Secondly, my provider ( Chelsea) was personal and so well educated. She knew exactly what tests to order, and I was sent home with one of them that day. My next appointment ( pending insurance approval), will complete the other tests which will be reviewed THAT DAY.

This Institute provides excellent customer service. Especially the Technician Matt and Ti from the billing office.

The doctors are OK, but their billing is highly questionable. Why are you asking me to pay $160 when the statement clearly adds up to $15? And why is the amount you said I paid for the last bill less than what my credit card company says I paid?

I am not a patient here but my dad, Rick, absolutely loved Dr Korpas, and I credit him with saving my dads life and giving me more time with him. He was diagnosed with heart failure with a 10% EF in the winter of 2014 and was extremely sick, weak, and scared. Dr Korpas, through medicine, a couple stents and a pacemaker/defibrillator, gave him 9 more years, which is pretty wild as far as heart failure goes. Unfortunately my dad passed last year but I felt compelled to write this review praising Dr Korpas.

I loved my experience here today. Everything is so organized and explained in detail of what is going to happen. The care and compassion that I received today was amazing. Everyone is very caring through the whole process from the front desk ladies to the end of the appointment with Dr Ayala. I will recommend Pioneer Heart Institute to anyone who needs it.
