CHI Health Clinic Heart Institute - Lincoln (Nebraska Heart)

It appears that we all need to improve our bedside manner. Reading the reviews, it is evident that this is a recurring issue at CHI. Recently, my mother experienced a similar situation. It is puzzling why individuals become irate simply by providing answers to questions.

I am very frustrated and confused. I had a sleep test done. My results were posted to my health Portal. Under impressions it clearly states obstructive sleep apnea. Signed off by a MD. Then I get a Portal message from my PCP saying my test was negative. Well clearly I was confused. I had to read the summary notes on the Portal where a different dr said I didn't have sleep apnea. So which is it? I get memo in the mail today saying no sleep apnea diagnosis. However, I go back to the 3 page test result that says I do. I want an explanation. This makes absolutely no sense.

Appointment was 45 minutes after time scheduled apparently they rescheduled and didn't tell me. Then the provider reiterated 3 times that she or someone could see me at a closer location which I didn't want at all! Rushed through the appointment, at which time I felt she was not approachable for questions or discussions about my concerns so left appointment w/o being heard!!! Frustrated and pushed aside! Don't question them about your appointment in the long run!! You will be treated poorly and not get the care you deserve or expect. I was out the door in less than 5-7 minutes!!

What a fantastic staff! My wife had a procedure done here and we had a great experience. Cutting edge technology and we were treated like royalty. I'm proud to have a place like this in Lincoln, NE!

Humankindness. A higher level of respect, accountability, and patient centric care. ... Only 1 word comes to mind to describe our experience: REFRESHING. to find a hospital that has equal respect for the patient, and the business model. The author of this review highly recommends this hospital over Bryan Health. If you're reading this we hope you do not need vascular specific surgery services, HOWEVER, if you or a loved one DO NEED specific vascular surgery: Dr. Song ? (we are spelling that wrong) , is a delight to work with: knowledgeable, insightful, and compassionate with outstanding regard to future needs, including rehab/ physical therapy and preventive care. In close we cannot thank our caseworker, Regina, & the doctors enough. Words cannot adequately express the humankindness experience.
