Dr. Daniel J. Mcgowan, MD

I like Dr McGowan as my heart doctor he is attentive and caring. I believe he listens and hears my concerns. I know he does his very best to research what might be needed to help my condition. Sometimes I think he forgets to tell his nurse what he has told me to do at times. Which is understandable with all he has to do and his patient load. Improvements could be made in that area. Overall I am very satisfied.

Art Marshall here , (not Kristi). Dr McGowan is a very good cardiologist . He pays close attention to details . Especially when I describe how my medications are effecting my health . He has spent the time necessary to help me take the correct dosages and he adjusts the dosages when needed . His nurses communicate well and ask good questions that help solve an issue I might be experiencing.

Dr. McGowan told me I was the healthiest person he had seen that day and he recognized that I had lost weight and that my blood pressure had improved. Most doctors don't compliment the patient or acknowledge those accomplishments and I appreciated him noting my efforts of becoming healthier.

I have heard Dr McGowan is close to retirement and with the service that I had received he should be retiring sooner than later. It is too bad I had to give him one star to leave this comment because he did not deserve that star either.

Staff friendly and efficient. Dr. McGowan very good doctor and with the use of medication took care of my heart issue.
